Chez Ali Restaurant

Since 1980, the Restaurant Chez Ali in Marrakech has been offering its guests a folkloric show every evening, combining traditional songs and dances, fantasia and horsemanship. In a setting worthy of the tales of a thousand and one nights, between imperial palace and caidale tents, Chez Ali Marrakech offers a traditional dinner.

Enchanted by the legendary Moroccan folklore, you will eat, listen and watch an entertainment recreating the ancestral Berber celebrations. This unique and captivating show takes place in a typical arena where the fantasia takes place. The Restaurant Chez Ali Marrakech has reconstructed in the purest tradition this practice. Riders equipped with rifles and dressed in traditional costumes imitate the battles and demonstrations of battle between warring tribes.

It is a mastery and knowledge of an ancestral art and a passion for horses. And to welcome you, a qualified staff will accompany you to your Caidale tent where a table is reserved for you. The atmosphere is magical and you will quickly plunge into a fairytale world ... you will enjoy a traditional dinner with Moroccan soup called Harrira, a barbecue (steamed lamb), couscous with vegetables and a platter of fresh fruit.

The dishes are brought to your table, musicians and dancers come by from time to time... You can enjoy your meal while watching the Fantasia show. During dinner, the Berber tribes of Zaïanes and Kelaat M'gouna will perform choreographed dances that show the rich history of the Kingdom of Morocco, followed by an incredible sensual belly dance, and acrobatic games.

Next you will enjoy the horsemen re-enacting scenes of war between the ancient Berbers and the desert knights. In a deafening noise of explosions and smoke, whole troops of horsemen dressed in their traditional uniforms confront each other in the arena.

To close the show, a gigantic firework display will light up the sky. And at the end, you will be picked up by your driver who will take you back to your hotel, and this will be one of your memorable experiences in Marrakech.
